Love Has No Color

When it comes to people dealing with severe poverty, despair, addiction, and abuse for many people third world countries are the first thing that come to mind. But the sad fact is that the above description is actually describing the conditions in which a group of people right here in our own nation live. The reservations on which Native American people live contain all of the elements of a group of people in need of desperate help. And that is exactly what The New Renaissance has set out to do... Help. The New Renaissance is a group of Chiropractors, Dr. Yape included who are out to make a difference, and who have touched the lives of so many on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, they are giving them something they have not had in a long time... Hope, happiness, and a glimpse of a better life. Not only does The New Renaissance hold yearly christmas gift donations for the very "needy" children on the reservation, they also have taken time to fix up an old theater on the reservation to give kids a clean, friendly environment to hang out, have fun and just be kids. They also made it possible for a young woman on the reservation to attend Chiropractic College with the intention of her returning to the reservation, and bringing back the light of health and wellness that Chiropractic Care brings with it (which is in very short supply at Fort Peck).  This will also give the kids a chance to see someone who grew up on the reservation, who they know, who left for school, came back and was successful.  They will have a positive role model to help them see that their dreams are achievable and there is more to life than they have ever thought possible.

Dr. Yape and the other Chiropractors involved in The New Renaissance, have opened their hearts and taken action. They have set forth to help the people of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, and though they cannot change the world in one swift swoop (although they wish they could) they are making a tremendous difference with their generosity, love and dedication, and the generosity, love and dedication of their practice members who make the "Christmas on the Reservation" possible with their generous donations, and for that THANK YOU! You have touched the life of a child in need, and they will NEVER forget that.

Dr. Yape and the other Chiropractors of The New Renaissance believe "Healthier people=Healthier planet" so lets help the desperate people in our country become healthier, and happier and help them realize the flicker of light that shines through the darkness shines for them.
